Phil Capron learned that real estate was the wealth builder for him after purchasing his first home in 2010 using a VA loan while on active duty.
He cut his teeth in the business as a real estate agent and by flipping properties in Coastal Virginia
10 years and over 500 apartment units later, Phil's focus is expanding real estate opportunities for military members and veterans. He wrote his first book "Your VA Loan: and How It Can Make You a Millionaire" in 2019, and in 2021 created the first 100% veteran-owned and operated fund backed by real estate, Mission First Capital.
Diane entered the workforce by joining the U.S. Army as an Administrative Assistant. Her military career consisted of supporting Commanding Generals in both Germany and Washington, DC.
After departing the service, Diane has ensured the success of executive leaders and their teams in nearly every industry. She has also been the administrative leader in a myriad of projects, supervised units of up to 30 employees and teams of 50+ volunteers, and assisted with the creation of organizations in support of government programs.
Diane enjoys volunteering, scrapbooking, traveling, and spending time with her grandkids and pets.
Serving in roles that allow her to help give back to the veteran community has been one of Kara's greatest passions. As a MilKid and MilSpouse, she has lived in several military communities including Biloxi, Jacksonville, and Norfolk. While her family was stationed in NAS Brunswick, Kara oversaw the operations of a Child Development Home for the children of active-duty sailors.
After transitioning to civilian life, Kara worked at the state government level where she held positions serving underserved populations. Kara worked in the Utah Department of Workforce Services which oversaw the state's childcare, housing, and community development programs. Her experience then landed her a role at the Tennessee Department of Veterans' Services - helping connect veterans with earned benefits after they transition from the military into civilian life.
